INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana's attorney general says he didn't touch any women in a sensual manner during the party where four women allege that he drunkenly groped them.
Attorney General Curtis Hill denied those claims as he testified Thursday during a hearing on professional misconduct charges that threaten his law license.
Hill says he briefly touched the back of a female lawmaker during the March 2018 party, not realizing she was wearing a backless dress. Hill said "absolutely not" when asked whether he grabbed Rep. Mara Candelaria Reardon's buttocks, as she alleged during testimony on Monday.
Hill has shown none of the defiance he exhibited when he called the claims "vicious and false" after they became public in July 2018.
The Indiana Supreme Court will later decide whether Hill will face any punishment.
