LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky State Police are investigating a Friday afternoon fatal collision in Adair County.
Around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov 25., KSP responded to a two-vehicle injury collision on KY 55 in Adair County.
According to the press release, the preliminary investigation states that 74-year-old Linda Young and a passenger in her vehicle, 45-year-old Chris Young were traveling south on KY 55 when she crossed the center line, entering into the northbound lane.
Officials said Young crashed head-on into Dana Arnold,55, who was traveling northbound.
Both, Linda and Chris were pronounced deceased by Adair County Coroner.
Authorities said Arnold was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
KSP is investigating.
