WARREN COUNTY, Ky. — Another Buc-ee's location is coming to Kentucky.
Our ABC affiliate in Lexington (WTVQ) reports the chain of huge, full-service gas stations plans to break ground in Smiths Grove next month.
The new Buc-ee's location will be in Warren County, about 20 minutes outside of Bowling Green.
Kentucky's first Buc-ee's location opened in Richmond in April 2022.
The chain currently operated 45 stores, mostly across Texas and the South.
Each location features dozens of gas pumps, bathroom stalls, Texas barbeque and the signature "Beaver Nuggets."
Buc-ee’s creators had a simple premise – make a store that is the go-to place to stop on a road trip. Their bathrooms were voted Best Bathrooms in America in 2012.
Since beginning its multi-state expansion in 2019, Buc-ee’s has opened travel centers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Now, Buc-ee’s is headed West with store groundbreakings in Colorado and Missouri.
