BULLITT COUNTY, Ky. — Police are investigating after finding human remains in northern Bullitt County Monday night.
The Bullitt County Sheriff's Office said officers responded to a call about potential human remains found at a property on Old Preston Highway, north of Little Flock Baptist Church.
Authorities said a person was landscaping near Tanyard Branch Creek when they found the remains and called police.
Investigators with the Bullitt County Sheriff's Department are leading the investigation, which is considered a death investigation. They are currently going through known missing persons reports while working with the medical examiner's office to try and identify the person.
