The McCoys were live streaming their search when they found the body of Joseph Couch.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky couple who found the body of the suspected I-75 shooter received the first part of their reward money on Tuesday.

The City of London posted a photo of the couple, Fred and Sheila McCoy, along with Mayor Randall Weddle and Kentucky State Police trooper Scottie Pennington, at the check presentation.

The McCoys were live streaming their search when they found the body of Joseph Couch. They discovered him in "rough terrain."

Multiple law enforcement agencies spent days searching over 28,000 acres of Daniel Boone National Forest looking for Couch.

Their first check was for $10,000 from WB Transport according to the post. They will receive several checks as part of the $35,000 reward.

The original reward was $25,000.
