Visitation held for missing Richmond mom, 6 months after she disappeared

The family asked that no one talk about the case at her visitation in Richmond, instead focusing on Savannah Spurlock's life.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Friends and family gathered in Central Kentucky Tuesday to remember Samantha Spurlock, a missing woman whose remains were found six months after she disappeared.

The family asked that no one talk about the case at her visitation in Richmond, instead focusing on Savannah’s life.

A mother of four, friends of Savannah say they’re praying for her kids.

“I pray for the babies most of all that they grow up to have a good life. That everyone remembers her family. That they teach her babies how she was," friend Jamicia Scott said.

There's a fundraiser set up to benefit those four children on the "Missing Savannah" Facebook page, now re-named "Remembering Savannah."
