BARDSTOWN, Ky. — One person is dead and two people are left with minor injuries after a car crash in Bardstown Friday afternoon.
Just before 5 p.m., the Bardstown Fire Department said they responded to the 5000 block of Boston Road for a crash involving a loaded rock dump truck and a passenger vehicle with three people entrapped.
Crews said one person died at the scene. They were able to successfully get two people out of the passenger vehicle with minor injuries.
The condition of the dump truck driver is unknown at this time.
Nelson County Fire Department, Nelson County Sheriff’s Department, Nelson County EMS also assisted in the incident.
