LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One firefighter was hospitalized Monday morning after an "extensive" fire at a Louisville business along Dixie Highway.

At about 1 a.m., Shively Fire crews were dispatched to a commercial structure fire in the 3600 block of Dixie Highway, according to a Shively Fire Department news release.

Crews found heavy fire in Wholesale Jim's, a one-story brick warehouse. The fire caused "extensive" fire damage to the building, authorities say.

One firefighter was injured and taken to a local hospital. Fire officials say the firefighter's injuries were minor and no one else was injured.

It took 25 firefighters 13 minutes to control the fire. LFD Arson is investigating.
