LMPD: 2 men found shot in Park Hill neighborhood

Authorities are working to determine the relationship between the two men, if any, and what led up to the shooting.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two men are in the hospital recovering after a shooting in the Park Hill neighborhood on Monday.

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) responded to the shooting near S. 23rd Street and West Ormsby Avenue around 1 p.m. There, Second Division officers found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both men were alert and conscious while being transported to the University of Louisville Hospital. Authorities said they are expected to survive their injuries.

Detectives are working to determine the relationship, if any, between the two men and what led up to the shooting or if there was a motive.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation.

There are no known suspects.
