Andy Porta, St. Xavier (Louisville)
With a 1-0 win over Campbell County, Porta’s Tigers claimed the seventh state title in school history this past season, breaking the state record for the most championships by a single baseball program.

The state’s 2016 Mr. Baseball winner, the hard-throwing righty posted an 8-3 record with a 1.29 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 65 innings for the Tigers this past season. McGee was selected in the fourth round of the MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays.
