LOUISVILLE, Ky. — 21C Museum Hotels is set to extend furloughs and lay off more people at its Louisville and Lexington hotels.
The boutique chain hotel, known for its contemporary art and chef-driven restaurants, made the announcement in a news release Tuesday.
It has filed WARN notices with the state saying it will lay off or furlough 117 workers in Louisville and another 121 in Lexington.
The layoffs and furlough extensions are set to begin May 28.
The museum and hotel has been temporarily closed since March 27 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
