LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Officials with Kentucky Kingdom say a passenger on a water ride was transported to the hospital after an incident Saturday.
The incident happened on the Deluge, when a raft carrying three people grazed an empty raft that was being removed from the ride.
Officials said in a statement that two of the riders left the scene without incident and that third rider was taken to the park’s health services where they complained of neck pain.
As a precaution, Kentucky Kingdom contacted Louisville Metro EMS who then transported that rider to the hospital for further evaluation.
That rider was released just before 9 p.m., according to the park.
