LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One of the priciest and most luxurious homes on the market in Louisville features a volleyball court and basketball court, and it even has its own putting green.
The estate at 7626 Heavens Estate Way in the southern outskirts of Louisville near Fern Creek boasts seven bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. The list price? $3,590,000.
According to online listing information, the home has been for sale for more than two months.
The enormous 11,000+ square foot home sits on a private cul-de-sac with more than five acres of land. According to one of the seller's realtors, Matthew Oatley, the property even goes 20 feet beyond the woods.
This two-story, single family residence was constructed with red brick back in 1999; however, many additions were put in back in 2015.
There are several amenities around the exterior of the Heaven Estates home that make the space unique, including a stunning private pool.
The pool area comes with an impressive built-in rock grotto where you can swim inside and hang out. There's also a rock slide, pool house, multiple outdoor grills and a fireplace.
While this house is perfect for entertaining, it definitely keeps children in mind throughout the design. The property comes with a full playground as well as little details in the kid's rooms that children would love.
Behind the pool house, there is a playground, a sand volleyball court, a full tennis/basketball court and a putting green.
The second half of The Oatley Team, the brother-sister realtor team selling this house, Laura Oatley, said her favorite part of the property is all of the outside amenities.
While the house itself and many of the outdoor amenities are original to when the owners built the home, the pool house, portico carport and other living perks were built in 2015.
In fact, when asked what his favorite part of the house was, self-proclaimed "garage snob" and realtor, Matthew Oatley, said hands-down: the portico.
Not only can this house fit seven cars in its garages but if the new owners wanted to utilize the tall garage ceilings and install car lifts, they could literally double their car parking capabilities.
Though the exterior of the house is impressive in itself, it's nothing compared to the grandeur that awaits inside the house.
When you walk in and step on the wide-plank, oak floors, you are greeted by white, pristine décor and impossibly high vaulted ceilings.
Many people have referred to the kitchen as the heart of the home, and that's definitely the case in this house as well. This fully updated kitchen comes with everything you can think of and plenty of things you may never have seen.
One feature that stands out: the owners put in a drawer disguised as a kitchen cabinet at your feet that has food and water bowls for dogs.
On the first floor of the house, there is a primary suite with an extravagant ensuite bathroom, enormous walk-in closet and convenient outdoor access.
While the primary suite is stately, the children's bedrooms on the second floor are whimsical, creative and perfect for kids.
Every bedroom on the second floor has its own balcony and its very own bathroom. One kid's room has a loft above it, perfect for sleepovers. Another one of the children's rooms has walls that would make any child feel like their floating through space.
As well as being a great house for children, this home is perfect for entertaining. The basement, in particular, seems made for having parties.
The basement has a brick wine room, wet bar, full kitchen and an incredible amount of space. The entire house also has a built-in speaker system, so you can control the vibe of your party from your phone.
The property is truly massive and the house was laid out very thoughtfully. You're never far away from a laundry unit, kitchen, bathroom or access to the outside.
"I wouldn't be intimidated by the size," Realtor Matthew Oatley said. "It'll get more familiar the more you're inside the house. It honestly just feels like a big home."
The Zillow listing online includes more information as well as a total of 197 photos. Realtor Laura Outley said she started with over 400 photos and struggled to get it down to where it is now.
