LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) --
An army of volunteers served up Thanksgiving with the mayor in Louisville.
Mayor Greg Fischer spent the early part of the day with volunteers at the Salvation Army.
The team started at about 11, serving all the thanksgiving staples including: turkey, stuffing and mac and cheese.
They served 800 meals between the Brook Street location, the Portland location, and Dosker Manor.
