LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Curious if you can purchase alcohol on Election Day in Kentucky? Well, you’re not alone.

Google Trends, which shows real-time search data, indicates that Kentuckians across the state are asking the same question Tuesday afternoon.

If you're looking to stock up on last-minute drinks while waiting for results to come in, you're in luck.

People in Kentucky can buy alcohol on Election Day.

According to Kentucky law, authorized sellers are “permitted to sell and deliver distilled spirits and wine during the hours the polls are open on any primary, or regular, local option, or special election day.”

The only exception, however, is if you live in a dry county.
