LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Thanks to an anonymous donor, the Frazier Rehab Institute can celebrate its 70th anniversary by looking into the future.
The center began in the 50s when Amelia Brown Frazier couldn't find the care she needed in Kentucky.
Thanks to her, thousands of people never have to leave the state to get top class care.
The money from the anonymous donor has jumpstarted their investment into their spinal cord unit.
"We have not only the clinical skills of our staff – the community gets the right rehab they need at the right time," Frazier Rehab CEO Dan Hudson said.
Unlike many rehab centers, Frazier remains a non-profit organization.
