Antonio Coleman deemed incompetent to stand trial

The 31-year-old was released to a mental health facility, and will stay there for 72 hours.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The man accused of assaulting and harassing women in downtown Louisville's medical district appeared in court on Monday.

Antonio Coleman, 31, is accused of harassing women around the medical district.

He has a history of arrests but every time he's been found incompetent to stand trial.

The public defender said he had a psych evaluation as recently as October of 2023.

But since then, he's been in court at least four more times.

And the cycle continued this year; in February, a judge ordered yet another psychiatric evaluation.

On Monday, the results were presented to the judge, and he was again deemed incompetent to stand trial.

He was released to a mental health facility, and will stay there for 72 hours.

Then he will be released back to the public.
