LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A bicyclist has died after being struck by a car near the UPS Worldport facility.
Metro Police officers responded to the collision around 9:30 p.m. Monday in the 6800 block of Crittenden Drive.
Investigators said a vehicle was headed south of Crittenden Drive when a man riding a bike veered into the path of the vehicle and was hit.
First responders were called to the scene where they pronounced the victim dead.
The driver of the vehicle was not hurt, and police said they remained at the scene.
The victim’s identity is not yet known.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
