LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Officers with the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office are investigating a woman's death after she was found on the side of the road Thursday afternoon.
Bullitt County Sheriff Walt Sholar said officers received calls about a body on the side of Kentucky Route 1020 around 5:15 p.m.
That's north of Brooks Hill Road and south of Brooks Station Drive.
When officers arrived, Sholar said they found a woman with injuries they "believe someone else committed on her."
Sholar added deputies worked through the night investigating the scene, and a homicide investigation is underway.
