LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville and the University of Kentucky play each other on Saturday and there is a new and delicious way you can support your favorite team.
Fans of Kentucky and Louisville basketball can take their rivalry to the next level with a new item from Skyline Chili.
On Dec. 14, for one-day-only you can show your team pride with red and blue Spaghetti Ways.
How does it work:
When you visit any participating Louisville or Lexington Skyline Chili location you can order a Red or Blue Way and scan the QR code to vote for your team.
At the end of the day, fans from the winning team will be selected to win Skyline gift cards and swag.
Here's where you can rep your colors in Louisville:
- Dupont Skyline: 4024 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville, KY 40207
- Highlands Skyline/Bardstown: 1266 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40207
- Hurstbourne Skyline: 340 Whittington Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40222
Both universities are also taking their rivalry off the court and into the community with the launch of the Cats vs. Cards Challenge.
Now through Dec. 14, fans of both teams are encouraged to show their support by contributing to need-based scholarships at their respective universities.
The university with the most donors by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 14 will win the challenge, earning bragging rights and showing how passionate alumni and donors are about creating opportunities for students.
Fans can watch the real-time progress for both universities and see which team will declare victory on The UofL and UK challenge websites.
The highly anticipated basketball game is at 5:15 p.m. at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
