LOUISVILLE, Ky (WHAS11) -- Friends, family and members of the community are uniting to remember a life taken to soon.
The family and friends of 12-year-old murder victim Ray Etheridge will be holding a remembrance ceremony at 3 p.m. at Hogan's Fountain at Bardstown Road and Eastern Parkway.
Etheridge was killed on September 30, 2014. His body was found unresponsive in Cherokee Park near Hogan's Fountain with. Joseph Cambron would later confess to stabbing Etheridge to death after the latter stole his wallet.
Anyone who wishes to attend is asked to bring balloons to be released or some other token to remember Ray by.
