LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The coroner has revealed the name of the victim who was struck and killed during an accident on the city's south side Monday night.
Officials say Thanh Tran, 64, was not using a crosswalk in the 4900 block of Southside Drive when she was struck and killed by a Louisville Metro Police tow truck.
They say Tran was wearing dark clothes and the road was poorly lit.
Tran died at the scene.
The driver of the tow truck was not hurt.
