Kentucky crews fight house fire Friday night; cause under investigation

Firefighters responded to a house fire in the area of Bob-O-Link Road and Moores Farm Lane.

SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. — A person in Shepherdsville has lost their home after a massive fire on Friday night. 

Around 8:30 p.m., Nichols Fire, Pleasure Ridge Park Fire District, Shepherdsville Fire Department, and Fairdale Fire were dispatched to a home in the area of Bob-O-Link Road and Moores Farm Lane.

The home was engulfed in flames. Firefighters said they arrived on scene "within minutes."

No one was found inside the home and there were no injuries to any residents or firefighters. 

Officials are investigating what caused the fire and what led to such a rapid progression. They believe it started in the attic.
