LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead following a crash in southwest Louisville.
The incident happened in the 12300 block of Dixie Highway just after 5 p.m. Monday, according to Metro Police.
In their preliminary investigation, police said a vehicle headed southbound on Dixie Highway crossed over for unknown reasons and struck a semi traveling northbound head-on.
The impact of the collision caused the southbound vehicle to strike another vehicle headed in the same direction.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the semi, 20 year-old Joshua Ralston, died at the scene.
No one else was hurt in the incident.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
