LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- More than a dozen people in Louisville showed their opposition to President Donald Trump's “zero-tolerance” policy.
They stood with signs at Hurstbourne and Shelbyville Road to show they were upset about families being torn apart, young children ripped from their parents arms.
One protester Brayton Bowen explained why they gathered and will continue to do so every Wednesday.
“We think it's important and be visible to the public to let everybody know that we're not in favor of this administration’s policy,” Bowen said.
Bowen said he wishes the president would meet with Congress and come up with a better solution for immigration reform.
