Free movies at Iroquois Park this summer; Here's what's playing and when

Iroquois Amphitheater will be showing WALL-E, Say Anything, Barbie, and many more.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — If you're in the mood to see a summer flick at a beautiful outdoor venue in Louisville, you're in luck. Iroquois Amphitheater is continuing its free summer movie series this July.

On Monday, Louisville Parks and Recreation announced the entire July schedule for the free movie series, and there are some time-honored classics as well as some newer arrivals included in the lineup.

“Our Free Summer Movie Series is a great way to enjoy the summer nights while getting lost in outer space or dance to ‘I’m Just Ken’,” Brian Smith, event supervisor at Iroquois Amphitheater, said.

July's free movie series includes the following dates and titles:

  • July 6: Rock Dog 3: Battle the Beat (PG) and Stop Making Sense (PG)
  • July 13: WALL-E (G) and Say Anything (PG-13)
  • July 19: Babe (G) and Barbie (PG-13)
  • July 25: Migration (G) and Trolls: Band Together (PG)
  • July 26: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (PG) and Paddington 2 (PG)

Gates open at 6 p.m. for concessions and door prizes, the first movie starts at 7 p.m. No outside food or beverages are allowed.
