HARRISON COUNTY, Ind. — More than a dozen people in southern Indiana were arrested on Thursday following a massive drug bust.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Department said as many in the community slept, deputies served 15 multiple felony drug arrest warrants.
The arrests come several months after detectives began an undercover drug dealing investigation called "Operation Blue Bird."
Fourteen individuals were charged with dealing in methamphetamine:
- Jesse Snelling
- Stephen Rowe
- Laurence Church
- James Garrard
- Kelley McDonald
- Alan Fentress
- Brian Crews
- Sheldon Haycraft
- Brian Combs
- Derek Norris
- Gilbert Duley
- Travis Peel
- Jennifer Harrell
- Heather Cole
The fifteenth suspect, Charles Cole, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Police said several more arrests are expected.
