LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Crews are at the scene of what officials are calling a "hazardous materials incident" involving a gas main break in east Louisville.
At about 10 a.m., Anchorage Middletown Fire and Louisville Metro Police worked to contain a gas leak with LG&E at 14423 Old Henry Road.
An Anchorage Middletown Fire spokesperson said crews were on scene monitoring air quality.
As of 11:30 a.m., the leak has been stopped. Officials said a 4 inch main was struck which caused the leak.
No evacuations were made during the incident.
