LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Thanksgiving is just under a week away and organizations across the city are making sure residents have everything they need for their holiday.
Heaven Hill Distillery and Clariant invited neighbors in the California neighborhood for a special lunch on Saturday and gave out 100 Thanksgiving meal boxes.
The boxes had all the holiday fixings including a dessert.
“It's very important, not just for Heaven Hill to be spirits and neighbors, but for other organizations in the community, other corporations in the community, to really uplift in any ways that they can, whether that's through schools, through nonprofits, through different causes and Heaven Hill, that is one thing that we stand on, is just being a spirit neighbor,” LP Brewer, a community relations specialist with Heaven Hill, said.
They also donated 50 meals to Perry Elementary families.
