LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville-based coffee chain is working to increase awareness surrounding domestic violence.
Heine Brothers is partnering with the Center for Women and Families to shed light on “Domestic Violence Awareness Month.”
Representatives from the Center spent their mornings at multiple franchise locations across the area, discussing the resources available to customers.
“It makes us feel incredible because it helps bring attention to domestic violence and to intimate partner violence, which is our purpose. we need people to be aware, to speak out, to say something if they see something. and so having Heine Brothers support us here in the community is a wonderful, wonderful thing that they do,” Center for Women and Families President Elizabeth Martin said.
All Heine Brothers locations will donate $3 for every pumpkin spice latte purchased on Monday.
Some of the locations still open include Main Street, Frankfort Avenue and Eastern Parkway.
