INDIANA, USA — It's been a long month and a half for the Martin family out of Scott County, Indiana.
Amanda Martin's family hasn't heard from or seen her since Sept. 13th.
"My mom had been staying with a friend, and he went to the store, and when he got back, she wasn't there," her daughter Mariah Martin said.
Mariah said all her mother's belongings were still in her home, but the AC unit was kicked out and there was no trace of Amanda.
"Her phone, her wallet with all of her cards in it, her shoes, her false teeth, all of her clothes were there," Mariah said.
Since Martin's disappearance, there have been limited leads on her whereabouts.
The Scott County Indiana Sheriff's Office has assisted in the search but have continuously come up empty.
According to Mariah, police have used dogs, drones, boats, and searched local ponds near Amanda's house but still haven't found a trace.
"It's just been very stressful," Brittney Martin, another daughter, said. "We don't have the information we wanted to have, and we're not hearing a lot or anything new," she added.
The Scott County Sheriff Jerry Goodin has been updating Facebook frequently with information for community members.
In one of his latest posts, he assured residents they would not stop looking for Martin until she is found.
"We will not stop looking for Amanda until she is located," he said. "If you know where she is, and you aren't telling us, shame on you. You need to come forward and give information that you have so we can bring her home," he added.
If you have information to provide that would assist the Scott County Sheriff's Office in locating Amanda Martin, please call (812) 752-5550.
