LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Workers got a scare on Thursday when they found a human skull at their work site in Portland.
Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) was called to the 1600 block of Northwestern Parkway around 12:10 p.m. on a report of a human skull being discovered.
When they arrived, workers told authorities they found the skull in a burned and vacant building that was being demolished.
Investigators said Metro Arson and LMPD are handling the death investigation, and the Medical Examiner's office is working to determine the cause of death.
