Humana looking to hire 200 for seasonal 'virtual' and office-based positions

The workers would help respond to inquiries about its Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plan while reviewing and processing member applications.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Healthcare giant Humana is looking to add 200 seasonal workers to its Medicare Enrollment staff.

The workers would help respond to inquiries about its Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plan while reviewing and processing member applications. 

Humana said seasonal employees will work from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7, which is their 2021 Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plan open enrollment window.

About 150 of the jobs are home-based while the other 50 will be in their downtown Louisville office.

Humana said their may be opportunities for these seasonal positions to evolve into full-time employment.

The healthcare company said its working with several community organizations to find candidates to fill the positions.
