FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) – After a Rock Creek student from neighboring Clark County tested positive for tuberculosis, the Floyd County Health Department is testing people who may have had contact with the patient.
Out of more than 100 people tested, the Health Department says only 5 had positive skin tests.
After more testing, none of the patients have active forms of the disease.
Doctors say there is no need to start testing the general population.
