CLARKSVILLE, Indiana — New developments are coming to southern Indiana and the town of Clarksville is looking for developers to help revitalize a big retail space.

On Monday, the Clarksville Redevelopment Commissions issued a "request for proposal" for developers interested in the Clarksville Plaza on Lewis and Clark Parkway.

The 7.33-acre space sits across the street from the Greentree Mall. The property includes a 100,000-square-foot building, which used to be home to a Hobby Lobby and Harbor Freight Tools.

The commission will rate each proposal and the developers will be asked to present their plans at an upcoming town hall.

Proposals are due by Nov. 20, 2023 at 2 p.m. Click here for more information.
