Clarksville Roosters announces reopening a year after devastating fire

The "fun, casual joint" has a new building and ready to welcome customers back after the original burned down in 2023.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — More than a year after its Clarksville, Indiana restaurant was devastated by a fire, Roosters is ready to reopen its doors.

The restaurant known for their chicken wings and being a “fun, casual joint” announced its location at 1601 Greentree Boulevard will have its grand opening on Aug. 19.

Construction on the new, modern building has been finished for quite some time. 

“We are so excited to open our doors again to our beloved supporters and loyal guests of Southern Indiana,” Roosters Kentucky said on Facebook.

The fire burned down the restaurant in February 2023 with 80 employees impacted.

Roosters said it is working to train a “massive team of great people” as they get closer to the opening date.
