Georgetown teenager dies after Thursday morning crash

Investigators say a teen lost control of his vehicle before crashing into a rock wall.

GEORGETOWN, Indiana — A southern Indiana teenager is dead after a fatal crash Thursday morning in Harrison County.

At about 3:30 a.m., investigators believe Dylan Lee Wilson, 19, of Georgetown, was driving his 2002 Saturn northbound on State Road 135.

As he was maneuvering around a curve in the road, authorities say Wilson lost control of his vehicle and drove off the roadway, striking a rock wall and causing the vehicle to roll over.

Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Harrison County Coroner. Indiana State Police are investigating the crash.

State Road 135 was closed until 8 a.m. on Thursday.
