SANTA CLAUS, Ind. — Holiday World is preparing to open this summer with some additional precautions in place to protect guests from COVID-19. To support these new procedures, they are hiring 250 additional employees for the 2020 season.
The Santa Claus, Indiana theme park is planning to open on June 17 with the introduction of “Sanitizer” stations, a virtual queue system and social distancing initiatives. These new employees will help with the InLine Reservation System as well as supporting the enhanced cleaning procedures at the park.
Seasonal Team Members at Holiday World get a starting pay of $10/hour, discounts on food and merchandise, an employee season pass and more. Employee transportation is available if you don’t have a way to get to work. One employee will also have a chance to win $10,000 during the season.
“Working at Holiday World is about being part of something bigger than yourself. We get to help families make happy memories, and together we work as a team to make that happen every day,” Holiday World President Matt Eckert said.
If you are interested in applying for a job at Holiday World, you can fill out an application online.
While the main park is opening on June 17, an opening date for the water park, Splashin’ Safari, has not been announced. The park’s newest attraction, Cheetah Chase, is still being tested but is expected to open later this summer.
