JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- The Indiana Department of Transportation is updating a Southern Indiana roundabout after many residents expressed their concern about its safety.
INDOT said they're going to update traffic signs and pavement markings for the Indiana 265-Indiana 62-Por Road roundabout.
A recent report showed 134 accidents have occurred at the interchange between September 2015 and May 2016.
The interchange was reworked because the new East-End crossing will create a new road.
Transportation officials said they expect the changes including larger signs to be complete within a month.
