INDOT: Portion of Progress Way in Clarksville to close for nearly 3 months for road project

The Indiana Department of Transportation will close Progress Way over I-65 for bridge rehabilitation work beginning March 18.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A roadway in southern Indiana is set to close temporarily for construction.

The Indiana Department of Transportation will close Progress Way over I-65 for bridge rehabilitation work beginning March 18.

The bridge that’s just west of U.S. 31, is expected to close for 11 weeks, weather permitting.

Drivers are asked to use the detour route that follows U.S. 31 to Lewis and Clark Parkway to Greentree Boulevard to Veterans Parkway to Sam Gwinn Boulevard to Progress Way.

INDOT plans to have signage in place before construction.
