LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A southern Indiana man has died following a car crash in Warren County, Kentucky early Sunday.
Kentucky State Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 65 near the 25 mile-marker around 1:57 a.m. in Warren County.
According to KSP's preliminary investigation revealed 29-year-old Alex Bailey of Jeffersonville was traveling northbound on I-65 when a deer entered the roadway causing him to hit the break before striking the deer around the 25 mile-marker.
It caused another vehicle to rear-end him, making Bailey's vehicle exit the roadway and resting in an embankment. The other vehicle came to rest inside a barrier wall in the left emergency lane.
Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim of the other vehicle, a 55-year-old man, was taken to a hospital in Bowling Green. His injuries are unknown.
KSP investigation into the incident is ongoing.
