LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Indiana police have arrested a man they believe is connected to an Ohio homicide.
According to Indiana State Police, a trooper was patrolling Dubois County near Ferdinand on Monday when he received a tip about Alejandro Angulo Ramos being wanted for shooting and killing a man Sunday night in Columbus, Ohio.
They believe Ramos was driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla and could have been traveling along I-64.
ISP and Dubois County Sheriff’s Office began patrolling the county and located Ramos around 6:30 a.m. at a Sunoco gas station in Ferdinand.
Police approached the vehicle, but the 22-year was not inside. As they waited around, Ramos was seen leaving the bathroom and was approached by police.
After speaking with him, Ramos was taken into custody.
He’s currently being housed in the Dubois County Jail awaiting extradition to Ohio.
