Man dead after crash in southern Indiana, police investigating

GREENVILLE, Ind. — A New Albany man is dead after a crash on Friday morning. 

Just before 11 a.m., the Floyd County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) said a crash involving a Honda and a semi-truck happened on U.S. 150 near Schuler Road in Greenville.

Police said their initial investigation revealed that the Honda hit the semi-truck.

Authorities said the driver of the Honda, 52-year-old Demar Nelson, died from the crash. The driver of the semi-truck, a 27 year-old man from Miami, Florida, was not injured in the crash. 

The crash is under investigation by the FCSO.
