NEW ALBANY, Ind. — New Albany Police are investigating after a 64-year-old woman died from being injuries outside of a home in New Albany on Thursday.
Around 2:30 p.m., emergency services were sent to the 1800 block of Conservative St. in relation to an "injured woman" outside of the home.
Upon arrival, authorities found Earlean Deloney, 64, unconscious outside of the home. Lifesaving measures were implemented and Deloney was taken to University of Louisville Hospital.
Donteregan Sanders, 20, was arrested in connection to this case, with exact charges pending. Police said Sanders has the same address as Deloney.
The cause of death is unknown at this time.
Police noted that there are no outstanding persons and there is no threat to public safety.
