New Albany police: 2 men remain hospitalized after stabbing

Just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, police said officers responded to a home in the 1900 block of East Market Street.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — New Albany Police (NAPD) are investigating a double stabbing that happened east of downtown New Albany, officials said.

Just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, police said officers responded to a home in the 1900 block of East Market Street.

When officers arrived, NAPD said officers found two men who had been stabbed.

Both were taken to the University of Louisville Hospital. NAPD Chief Todd Bailey said both men are expected to survive.

Police said they believe they have everyone accounted for, however the case remains under investigation.
