Southern Indiana auto shop 'total loss' after massive fire, officials say

Clarksville Fire Department Chief Brandon Skaggs said it took 30 firefighters 45 minutes to control the fire.

CLARKSVILLE, Ind. — A southern Indiana business is a "total loss" after a massive fire Thursday evening. 

Clarksville Fire Department said crews were dispatched to a structure fire on Appleleaf Lane around 2:45 p.m. When they got there, they found Jack's Auto Tec engulfed in flames. 

Chief Brandon Skaggs said it took 30 firefighters 45 minutes to control the fire 

Skaggs saidTri Township Fire & Rescue helped Clarksville Fire Department battle the fire. 

Crews said the building was occupied, but everyone was able to get out with no injuries. 

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
