Steamboat Nights returns to Jeffersonville; Here's when

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A free, annual, family-friendly event is happening this weekend over in Jeffersonville.

On Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night, the Jeffersonville Parks and Recreation Department is hosting Jeffersonville Steamboat Nights at Big 4 Station Park.

According to the event manager, Tara Young, Friday's entertainment includes "The Black Ties," who will perform at 7:30 p.m., and "Southern Avenue," and they will perform at 9 p.m. On Saturday, "Hippies and Cowboys" will perform at 7:30 and "The Ark Band" will perform at 9 p.m.

Other activities include a Balloon Glow, a silent disco, art muralists, and the Black Light Glow Tent. Young said activities geared towards kids include glow lantern making and balloon animals from Yanni the Juggling Giant.
