LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) A Jefferson District Court judge, David Holton, was greeted by a new companion on Friday.
Holton is one of two blind judges in the country that is blind and on Friday he met his new service dog, Rocky.
His former service dog, Buddy, worked with the judge for more than 10 years before he died due to ruptured internal tumor.
'Buddy had me for 10 and a half years and we went through a lot of challenging times together and a lot of happy times together,' Holton said.
Rocky comes to the judge from a Cleveland based company that provides guide dogs for the blind.
