Louisville and Lexington McDonald's restaurants hiring 1,000 employees

Through the Archway to Opportunity program, McDonald's employees can earn tuition assistance while pursuing a college degree.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — McDonald's restaurants in the Louisville and Lexington areas are looking to hire nearly 1,000 new employees this summer.

Whether you're looking for a summer job, a side gig or a career, there may be an opportunity for you at McDonald's.

McDonald's offers several benefits and perks to its employees. Participating McDonald's locations allow employees to access discounted McDonald's menu items at many locations across the U.S.

Through McDonald's Archway to Opportunity program, employees at participating restaurants can receive tuition assistance while working toward a college degree. The program can also help employees earn a high school diploma, improve English skills, and help make career and education plans through advisors.

“We know that many in our local communities are looking for jobs to help them meet their immediate goals, or lasting careers. We are proud to provide opportunities in our local communities,” Emily Kasselmann, owner of six McDonald’s locations in Kentucky, said. “Not only is it important for us to provide job opportunities for those in our communities, but we know it’s important for individuals to be valued. We look forward to sharing all McDonald’s has to offer as individuals begin their summer job searches.”
