LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Veterans Day Parade returned to downtown Louisville on Saturday.
The parade marched down Jefferson Street from 4th Street to 7th Street.
This year’s grand marshal was Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, Don Ballard, representing the Armed Forces Medic Corps.
The parade featured historic military vehicles, a steel beam from the World Trade Center and veterans and community members coming together to honor those who laid their lives down for the country.
